Throughout the years, the Villas have retained their seaside charm and remained a wonderful place to live. Times have changed and neighborhood amenities have improved. The Villas will now have the opportunity to improve as well. We are excited at the opportunity to reinvest in the Villas and share with you the many possibilities of modernizing these facilities for a more sustainable and abundant future!
While we have been working on a site plan that respects the existing topography for some time, we are in the very beginning of the public planning process. There will be opportunities during this process for the community to weigh in. To make sure you stay in the loop, sign-up for updates (See Below). We will, of course, honor all our valued tenants’ leases as this process moves forward.
A sneak peak of what is being proposed… The REimagined Villas will be a for rent, condominium style, development. This means 24/7 professional management and amenities one would expect in for sale condominium homes – luxurious finishes throughout, upgraded appliances, and details like closet organizers and smart home technology.
On January 31, 2024, we submitted a revised preliminary application to the City. An overview of the revised project is available here. Unfortunately, after several years and a great deal of resources planning a Project in reliance on the City’s multiple representations of Base Density, as a last resort finding no resolution with the City, a legal challenge has been filed in Superior Court.
